Supernatural: Season 7 Episode 17 “The Born-Again Identity”

  “Sam” (played by Jared Padalecki) is running through the dark in an urban area. When he comes across a drug dealer selling to a women. When “Lucifer” (played by Mark Pellegrino) appears to “Sam” who looks to be struggling with this sleep deprivation the “Devil” is putting him through. eck.  “Come on “Sam” tell the nice “Tweaker” ”   “You be sleeping by now if the “Devil” would just leave you alone, for 5 seconds!”  “Stupid Satan” haha   “Chasing ya, all the way da…where are we?”   “Hey, “Sam” try the hand scare” lol   Seems “Sam” is 5 days in this chatty “Devil” forced Insomnia. The cute drug dealer offers to help put “Sam” to sleep.  Unfortunately for “Sam” the  “Devil” has other plans, and throws, or to “Sam” imagination a pipe throw the windshield, and starts to sing “Good Morning, Good Morning, to you are day is beginning so, Good Morning to you”  “Sam” does not looked amused  “I thought you liked my singing” haha   “Pills!”  “You do get that you’re just bringing free drugs to the party, Right?!”  While trying to out run the “Devil” “Sam” gets hit by a car. Poor Sammy that is so going to hurt later.    “Dean” (played by Jensen Ackles) forces his way in to “Dr. Kadinsky” (played by Bill Dow “StarGate SG-1, Atlantis and Universe” as “Dr. Lee”) office to find out why his brother is here, and why he can’t see him?!    “Dean” is told “Sam” was sent here from the hospital after “Sam” was hit by a car, and that he has broken ribs. Once there they diagnosed that “Sam” is having a full psychotic break. “Dr. Kadinsky” then thought it was best to admit “Sam” to the lock-down unit.  “Dr. Kadinsky” also tells “Dean” they used every drug they could, and “Sam” still won’t sleep.    “Dean” sees “Sam”, and he not looking so hot…ok I’am so lying even sleep deprived “Daddy” looks yummy.  But, once inside the room the “Devil” is seen sitting on a table playing with string while poor “Sam” is trying to ignore the taunts. “Ah… Mr. Helpless pull up a six pack buddy”  “Dean” asks “Sam” how he is doing “Maybe you should cancel my UFC fight”   “Devil”  “Keep that sense of humor “Sam” it get you though this”    “Sam” don’t see any light at the end of the tunnel, and he seems ready for Death, or realizing he will forever be bunking with the “Devil” in the “Nut House”. eck.  I enjoyed the acting by Jared he seemed really in tuned with his character’s emotions, and was expressing them in his body, face, and eyes…great job. 🙂  “Devil”  “Oh..You guys are having a moment”  haha    “Dean” starts calling all of “Bobby’s” old contacts hoping someone knows, or heard of something, or someone that can help “Sam”. Back in the padded room “Sam” is listening to “Devil” read Medical diagnosed disorders “Narcissistic Personality Disorder..Ok, now this one I could have” haha  “Sets unrealistic goals…Check” 🙂  “But, trouble keeping healthy relationships….not so sure on that one?”   ” “Sam”..thoughts?!” haha   “Dean” lays “Bobby’s” address book down on the kitchen table while he gets a much needed cold beer. The address book some how finds its way onto the kitchen floor..hmm..Bobby? When it falls it leaves a card to “Mackey taxidermy” (actor playing “Mackey” looks so familiar to me? If anyone knows who he is or acted in before let me know..thanks)”Dean” leaves a message. The “Devil” is causing “Sam” to hallucinate that there are maggots in his burger, and now “Sam” can’t eat. “Mackey” calls “Dean” back, and he has someone that can help “Sam” his name is “Emmanuel”.     A girl named “Marin” (played by Kacey Rohl) brings “Sam” a candy bar (bring me chocolate, and you are my new bestie..haha) “Sam” tries to speak but the “Devil” chooses to use a bull horn to say Hi to “Sam” at that moment..ouch.  “Dean” knocks on “Emmanuel’s” door to see after a few short words a woman tied, and gagged. A “Demon” has beat him to “Emmanuel”, and a fight begins. “Dean” reminds the “Demon” that him, and his brother are not to be touched “Crowely” would be mad. “Demon” informs “Dean” he hasn’t done anything for “Crowely” that no “Dick Roman’s” head on a plate, and “Crowely” will want “Emmanuel”. “Dean” forces his knife into the “Demon”, and bye bye “Demon”. After this little struggle “Dean” sees “Castiel” (played by Misha Collins) minus the trench cost, and add a sweater vest..cute..standing there, and looking confused at what just happen? What was that? What was wrong with it’s face?   “Cas/Emmanuel” unties his wife? Um..ok. “Dean” looks very confused, and realizes “Cas/Emmanuel” has no idea who “Dean” is? What he had done? Who what he is?  “Lucifer” is playing “Wake up little Susie” on the radio, and throwing firecrackers. When orderly “Marcus” brings in “Sam’s” meal “Lucifer” asks “Sam” what would he like his food look like today…Maggots…or..Tape worms? gross 😦    “Dean”, & “Cas/Emmanuel”  are driving to see if  Cas/Emmanuel” can heal “Sam” when “Dean” asks why he don’t know who he is? What had happen? “Cas/Emmanuel” only remembers coming out of the river wet, and naked.  “Cas/Emmanuel” got his name from a website called Bouncy baby names. haha    “Dean” asks “Cas/Emmanuel” what if he was a bad guy? “Cas/Emmanuel” says he don’t feel like a bad person?!  “Marin” is back, and she brought chocolate. Seems “Marin” is hearing voices and gets very upset when “Sam” mentions a fire she had supposedly started that got her committed. “Marin” lets it slip that it is one voice she hears, and it is her dead brother, he set the fire. He told her either she kills herself, and joins him since he hates being alone, or he will kill her. nice brotherly love there. eck.   “Dean” talks about “Castiel” to “Cas/Emmanuel” how he betrayed him, and he is the one who did this to his brother.  “Cas/Emmanuel” “Your friends name was “Cas?”  “That’s a weird name” haha   “Dean” parks goes into a corner store by himself. A few “Demons” soon follow after that a fight starts with “Dean” getting knocked down, and “Meg” (played by Rachel Miner) comes to “Deans” rescue.  Hey Meg, I missed you, girl.  “Meg” tells “Dean” a lot of “Demons” will be trying to kill “Dean” to get their hands on “Cas/Emmanuel”. “Meg” admits to wanting to have “Cas/Emmanuel” as well, and is confused on how he is even alive?! “Meg”   “I heard he played God, and went puff!!”  haha  “Meg” wants to be friends with “Dean”, & “Cas/Emmanuel” to help her ass as well as theirs.  “Meg”   “Don’t get me wrong I”m gonna burn that swormy dick my times coming”  “But, right about now my Army of one situation is not cutting it, its cold out here”   “There’s a prize on my ass, and I need friends!”  “So for now it’s in everyone’s best interest to hold hands, and cross the street together”  haha  Love a strong cocky female..so hot.    When “Dean”, & “Meg” walk back to the car “Cas/Emmanuel” notices she is a “Demon” by her face from the looks he is giving her not a cute one 🙂  “Sam” tells “Marin” he can help her get rid of her brother..that he is haunting her. She tells “Sam” he needs to sleep “You’re worse!”  “Your Organs need sleep ya know”   “Your hair, and nails are going to fall out, and your Kidneys are going to shut down”  “I saw it in a movie…Sorry”  haha “Lucifer” found that a musing as well. “Sam” tells “marin” to get a lighter. “Cas/Emmanuel” can’t stand the long uncomfortable silence that is going on in the car now “Is there something I should know?”   “Meg”  “I don’t know…”Dean”?”   “Dean”   “No, “Meg” has that effect awkward…you know?!” “Cas/Emmanuel”  “Oh..sorry to hear that”   “Meg”  “Dean is making a joke Emmanuel”  “Cas/Emmanuel”   “OH”   he laughs aww so “Castiel”   I keep hoping they will bring “Castiel” (played by Misha Collins) back to series regular! *cross fingers*     “Marin” brings a lighter to burn a bracelet her brother made, and bleed on that she wears all the time. Also salt for the circle of protection her, & “Sam” will be standing in to protect them from her ghostly mad brother. “Lucifer” is messing with “Sam” so much he can’t even pour a salt circle “Sam”  “I”m just haven a little”  “Devil”   “Brown acid moment”   “Sam”   “Dizzy thing”  “It’ll pass”  “Devil” “Really?…when your heart stops”   “Marin’s” brother appears pissed, and wreaking “Sams” room begging “Marin” to not burn his bracelet.  After it is over, and “Marin’s” brother is at rest “Sam” tells her to run, and cue the orderlies so they came to restrain “Sam” to his bed. Dr. K is discussing maybe “Sam” might need Surgical remedies for him to sleep. “Devil”   “Lobotomy?”   “Dr. K”  “It’s O.K, where not talking Lobotomy here”  “Devil”  “Darn!”   “Dean”, and the gang get to the Hospital to find “Demons” guarding the door way.  “Meg” wants to snap “Cas/Emmanuel’s” memory back but “Dean” is afraid if he remembers who, and what he is/done he might fly away while poor “Sam” gets no help. “Cas/Emmanuel” over hears their conversation “Meg”  “Your an Angel”  “Cas/Emmanuel”  “I’m Sorry…is that a flirtation?”   “Meg”  “No, it ‘s a species…a very powerful one”   Even though “Cas/Emmanuel” don’t remember how to work his powers, or who he is, he is still willing to try to get rid of the “Demons”.    “Cas” “I don’t remember how?”  “Dean”  “Its in there”  “I”m sure its just like riding a bike”   “Cas”  “I don’t know how to do that either”   I loved the face “Dean” gave “Really bitch”, and eye-roll..haha   “Cas”  “Alright..I’ll try”   “Cas” walks up to a “Demon”  “Hey, I know you, your dead!”  “Cas”  “Yes, I’ve heard”    As “Cas” kills the “Demons” his memory starts to flash back to him. “I don’t think running will help you?!”    Afterwards “Cas” has a moment of regret but after a talk with “Dean” as well as getting his trenchcoat back..blood, and all he is ready to try to help “Sam”.   “Sam” is carted off to Electric Shock Therapy room, and givin his new Therapy by “Demon” orderly “Marcus”. “Cas” kills “Marcus”, and touches “Sam’s” forehead, and sees that he can’t help “Sam”. Back in “Sam’s” room “Devil” is reading “Three little pigs” to “Sam”  haha  “Cas” decides to shift the mental break “Sam” is going through from “Sam” to himself…wtf?? “Cas” feels he can handle it much better then “Sam”, and he deserves to carry this burden.    “Sam” is confused to see “Castiel” at his bedside, and he no longer feels the “Devil” in his head. “Devil”  “Hello, brother”  “Cas” is left in the lock-down unit “Sam” hates to leave him but “Dean” makes a point only they, and “Meg” (probably not good) know that “Castiel” is alive, and they can’t protect him. “Meg” decides to stay behind and gets a job as a nurse on the unit to watch/protect or whatever?  How you feel about this episode?
